• Exterior: The vachetta leather has developed a dark caramel patina with water and oil marks, creasing, scratches, rubbing, scuffing, and soiling. The coated canvas remains vibrant and beautiful with gentle misshapenness.
• Interior: The interior slip pocket lining shows age-related deterioration—common in vintage Louis Vuitton—but isn’t sticky and could be relined. On the exterior pocket, the brown cross-grain leather has fully peeled away, exposing the fuzzy fabric base layer (original construction). The main compartment is clean aside from a few light scratches, reflecting honest vintage use.
